When it comes to furnishing a room, I like to keep a style in mind while picking out furniture pieces from many different stores and boutiques. As much as I sometimes love taking the easy way out and ordering a complete room set, it is always fun to mix and match styles, colors, fabrics, and designs. In my new apartment, I started off nice and easy in my bedroom. I purchased a complete four-piece bedroom set that came in the same finish and design while I left the décor up to my own imagination. Conversely, I used my living room area as a space to add furniture pieces here and there. NO living room set needed. Sometimes the hunt for complementary items to mix and match in a space is half the fun!
